Ruth Forsyth
Financial Advisor
Ruth Forsyth is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Planning and a BA from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a Managing Partner with The Advisors Group of Pittsburgh and has over 30 years of experience in the industry. Ruth works primarily with individuals in helping them to achieve their financial goals. Her practice focuses on Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Asset Management.
She holds a Series 7, 65, 63, 51, 24 and Securities Industry Essentials designation.
Ruth has spoken throughout the country on various financial topics and has instructed many courses for The University of Pittsburgh’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. She is a former co-host of KQV Radio’s “All Things Financial” and has been published in The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Small Business News.
Ruth is an active member of the Carnegie Collier Rotary Club, served as their President in 2015 and was awarded the Rotarian of the Year Award in 2012 and 2021. She has served many non-profit organizations as a board member and officer, including past President of The Financial Planning Association of Pittsburgh, Past Treasurer and Volunteer of the Year (2002) of the University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association, and board member for Quantum Theatre.
Ruth is married to her husband Jim Denvir. They enjoy hosting international exchange students and rescuing Springer Spaniels.
